
Hook: Tiemco 900BL size 20 Thread: Olive #8 Tail: Olive Micro Fibbets Post: Bronzes mallard breast feather Body: BWO extra fine dubbing Hackle: Grizzly of Grizzly died olive
1. Attach thread with jam knot at 80% mark and wrap back to bend of
hook. (Keep thread wraps to a minimum)
2. Apply very small amount of dubbing to thread and wrap to form small
ball of dubbing at bend of hook.
3. Select two micro fibbets. Wrap thread forward to 50% and tie in
two micro fibits with 3 wraps of thread toward back. Pull fibits to adjust
to proper dimensional length for may fly tail.
4. Keep thread tension and wrap backwards while causing the tail fibits
to split wide.
5. Wrap forward and attach mallard post at 70% mark.
6. Apply dubbing
7. Tie in hackle and wrap around post.
8. Tie down hackle, form head and apply small drop of thinned head
cement.
