Name:Tenkiya Nekura

Background: Nekura is the son of a professor of mathematics and a homemaker, the younger of two children. He had a relatively normal childhood in one of the residential areas of Tokyo, attending fairly good schools, getting decent grades and just generally being a kid. He found a best friend in his neighbor Koyuki, who sometimes attended the same school as he, and the two boys spent a great deal of time together growing up.

His older sister Keiko graduated from CLAMP Daigaku a few years ago and is now doing graphic design for an unnamed magazine. He recently passed the exam to get into that school himself, and is currently attending as a first year. When he's not doing schoolwork, he's usually busy with some of his extracurricular activities, which include playing soccer, writing for the school paper, and playing the violin. Somewhere in there he also finds time to hold down a part-time job at the aquarium near his sister's apartment.

Inspiration: The big inspiration for this character is Kinomoto Touya, a character from the manga series Cardcaptor Sakura, and his looks and some of his interests are borrowed from there. His background is significantly different, however, and I think some of Suoh got into him too (along with a dash of Tamahome to explain his occasional lack of a clue), so I kind of consider him my own CLAMPboy creation, of the frowny-quiet type.
