MBH - Masters' Study(#1164RL) Contents: Lorianne (Beastcraft Craftmaster) Ferocious (Csin's big scary cat) Obvious exits: Master Csinonor Master Garrin Master Lorianne Out Csinonor sneaks into the room, looking nervous. Csinonor has arrived. Lorianne looks up from her hides and looks at the two people, "You still going through with this?" Csinonor wears a rich blue shirt the colour of the darkening twilight sky. Small round midnight blue buttons secure the key-hole opening and his long, loose sleeves. His shirt is vested with a square-necked tunic, the deep dark blue of the almost-blackened midnight sky. His tunic laces ornamentally up the front with thin gold twining, and pale gold embroidery follows the neckline in an abstract wandering pattern of intertwining vines and leaves. His trousers, a handsome wherhide dyed the same midnight blue, are belted with a polished black wherhide belt. He wears a belt knife at his side, festively hitled in yellow and white wrappings. His trousers tuck into polished black boots slightly below his knees. Corkin enters from Csinonor's room. Corkin has arrived. Csinonor smiles at the CraftMaster, managing to radiate a sense of confidence. "Neither of us has changed our mind yet.. I hope?" He glances at Ciela, unable to do anything but smile. Ciela shuffles forward, looking horribly nervous. "No.. no, not yet." She manages a short smile before savagely jerking at her skirt, which got twisted. "Stupid dress." Lorianne stands up and tugs her tunic into something the looks almost presentable. She looks over at Ciela with an expression of hopefullness which is dashed by the girl's answer. "Well, is everyone here?" Corkin chimes in brightly, "I'm hre!" and waits for everyone to acknowledge this fact. Lorianne turns to the boy and forces a smile, "That you are, Cor..Cordin..whateveryournameis." Ciela does grin at Corkin, restoring a little color to her cheeks. "Here and clean even." Corkin grins up at Lorianne, and toddles merrily around the room to stand between his father and Ciela, grabbing a handfull of their respective wedding outfits in each hand. Seenam, the last-minute Harper captured for the wedding, gives a silent nod from his place over by the door, waiting impatiently. Ciela looks down at Corkin, and completely forgets to look up again. Corkin grins brightly at his soon-to-be mother, and goes up onto his tip-toes to whisper to her, "You're really pretty." (Corkin wasn't really here, he was a puppet. This is his temp desc.) It's Csinonor's kid... you know what he looks like. Lorianne clears her throat and then says in her normal, loud, brash tone of voice, "Then shall we start?" She looks over at the harper, "Harper! Stop daydreaming." Ciela turns as pink as her dress at Corkin's whisper, and jumps to attention at Lorianne's voice, even if she doesn't answer to the name of Harper. Seenam stops leaning against the doorframe, and stands up straight, giving the CraftMaster his full attention. Csinonor nods solemnly, the smile apparently a permanent fixture on his face tonight. Lorianne begins, "I suppose I should say some glowing things about the state of marriage. Unfortunately everything I know about it tells me that it just saps the life out of people. And I've gone and promised to make the same sharding mistake you all are missing." She pauses and looks at the two happy faces, "But perhaps, you'll be different. I suppose if anyone can make marriage a happy, fullfilling relationship, it is you two." Csinonor's expression may have flickered just a little with Lorianne's first words, but it returns full-force with the last sentence, and he gies a nearly impercepbitble nod. Ciela chokes back a sudden wild desire to giggle, basically ending up holding her breath, which isn't entirely a bad thing. The force of the surpressed merriment finally puts a smile on her face, and she keeps her eyes firmly on a spot just over Lorianne's head. Lorianne looks at the two, "Now I believe you both have something to say to each other. Who'd like to go first? Just speak up, now, don't be shy." She gives Ciela a quelling look and mutters something under her breath about smiths and being outside in the dark too much. Ciela is emboldened by the fact that she didn't giggle, and says firmly, "I'll go first. If..well, if you don't mind?" She glances at Csin, carefully. Lorianne nods to Ciela and looks down to make sure Corkin's behaving. Corkin seems to know when he's supposed to behave, although he still has a grip on both wedding outfits, and he tugs impatiently from time to time. Csinonor nods to Ciela, an says softly, "Of course, love." Ciela flushes, and closes her eyes. She rehearsed this, she did. Still, she starts off stammering. "I promise to.. to love you, and to be by your side through fall, fog and fire..." with that unoriginal beginning out of the way, she takes a deep breath and continues. "To remember that star watching isn't quite the same as star gazing, to make sure there's more in your life than just work, and to make you happy for as long as I can." She trails off at the end, coming to an abrupt halt with a brilliant, relieved smile. Lorianne looks at Ciela with something that is while not quiet a smile is most certainly nothing approaching a frown and then she turns to Csin expectantly. Csinonor looks down at Ciela, and begins speaking in a voice that is soft, but not weak. "And I promise that I will love you with all my heart, every hour of every day, hereafter, through all the trials life holds for us. That I will always be there when you need me, wherever you need me. And that I will always be faithful to you, foresaking all others.." He trails off a moment, casting a glance towards Ferocious, and throws in, "...including felines. And that my every action will consider your happiness equally with my own." Ferocious is oblivious to the feline reference. She still has four stitches to chew through before the moccasin she's eating will fall apart. Lorianne looks at the two and prompts Csin, "Through...." Csinonor glances back at Lorianne, smiling with an almost 'must-I?' expression. "Fog, fire, and fall." Ciela turns to look oddly at Ferocious, only returning her attention to the people when Csin speaks again. She stops holding her breath. Most of it anyway. Lorianne turns to the Harper and mummurs, "Heard and witnessed." Seenam pipes up and echoes, "Heard and witnessed." Lorianne looks at Corkin and asks, "Did you want to say anything?" Corkin is showing teeth in his gren as he looks up at the CraftMaster. "They married yet?" he asks softly. s/gren/grin/ Lorianne nods, "They're married, they can even kiss each other if they want to." Lorianne throws her hands up, "Oh, shards I forgot... the marks." Csinonor had just taken a breath to say something... apparently that was it, because he lets it out again silently. He ducks one of his hands into the pouch on his belt opposite the beltknife. Ciela gulps, and rather than say anything, starts fishing about her person. The mark is found, rapidly, and she holds it in her hand. Lorianne nods at the two, "Go ahead." Csinonor produces the small, golden mark, and holds it out. "The chain I gave you yesterday," he says, "was so you can wear this close to your heart always, and remember the day I pledged my unending love for you." Lorianne rolls her eys at all the sentiment and then looks at Ciela. Ciela starts to offer her mark to Csin, but tightens her fingers around it, looking up at him. "You had to go and say that.. I will /not/ cry or giggle at my wedding, but you're making it awfully hard." She moves her hand forward and exchanges the marks with a soft sniffle. Csinonor smiles, but bows his head as he accepts the mark. "Sorry, love," he murmurs, "I was.. moved." Corkin steps up from between the two, and whispers to Lorianne again, "Now're they married?" Lorianne nods, "Now they can kiss." She winks at Corkin, "Or did you still want to say something?" Corkin shakes his head rapidly, and goes back to standing between Csinonor and Ciela, conveniently right between them. Ciela looks up at Csinonor questioningly, as if to say 'your move'. Lorianne looks at Csin too. Csinonor glances down at Corkin, who has decided to stand directly in the way, but hse smiles, and looks at Ciela. Leaning over Corkin's head, he plants a gentle, if lingering, kiss on her lips. Seenam, deciding his obligation has been fulfilled, goes to slip out of the room quietly. Lorianne turns her body so that she doesn't have to look directly at the happy couple. She looks over at the Harper and says, "Now, don't drink all the sharding wine." Seenam gets caught. He snaps off a quick wave/salute, making no promises, and sneaks out. Lorianne says, still not looking, "Congratulations, take some time off, Csin... just not too much." Lorianne pushes the door to Master Lorianne's room open and enters. Lorianne has left. Corkin gives the two a soft, childish giggle, looking up at their chins . He claps quietly. Ciela tilts, and pulls away from the kiss before it's quite finished rather than topple into Corkin. She doesn't really pay much attention to Lorianne's comments. Csinonor takes a step back, and yes, he's still smiling, keeping his eyes locked to Ciela's for what seems like a very long time. "I really am sorry," he says finally, "I didn't mean to catch you off-guard." Ciela shakes her head, resting a hand on Corkin's shoulder. "I'm just not steady on my feet today, it seems. Not your fault." She still has a smile too, an almost surprised one. Corkin gives Ciela a tight hug around her waist, then turns around and hugs his father's leg. "Now we're a family, right?" he chirps, peering up at borth parents. Csinonor nods to Corkin with a grin, "Now it's official. You can call her 'mom' if you like." He crouches down to hug an arm around the boy, and kiss the top of his head. Ciela chews her lower lip, and adds, "Ciela is fine though.. I wouldn't mind if you just called me that." Corkin seems to be in an unstoppably good mood. He walks up to Ciela and asks, "You don't want me to call you 'mom?'" Ciela crouches down with a sigh. "I don't know. Do you want to call me that?" Corkin pauses uncertainly, then looks down. "Well, I'd like to give it a try... but if you don't want, that's okay." Ciela smiles, and says softly, "It's entirely up to you, Corkin. You can call me whatever you feel comfortable with.. within reason, of course." Corkin goes up to hug Ciela again. "I'll try to call you Ciela... but I might slip. That okay?" Csinonor stands watching, reaching over to the corner to pick up his cane again for support. Ciela hugs the boy back. "That's just fine. And you.. you won't get mad if I slip and call you something silly like cutie once it a while, will you?" Corkin smiles again, and nods, saying contrarily, "I'd like it." He stands up again, and looks back at his father. "So.. what now?" Ciela clears her throat, straightening. "Well.. um. Yeah. What now?" Csinonor joins the other two, laying a hand on Corkin's shoulder. "Well now," he says, "I think we have a little moving to do, first of all... and then.." He looks at Ciela and smiles. "We're going to go for a little holiday." Ciela nods. "After I change out of this dress, too." She looks over at the two, and then towards Csin's office. "How much are we moving today?" Corkin doesn't have a clue, so Csinonor says, "Just enough to get by, I think. We can worry about the rest when we get back. I don't think we should work too hard, considering the occasion." He smiles, and winks. Corkin grins, "I'll help. Where're we going, anyway?" He looks questioningly at Ciela. Ciela giggles, now that the wedding's over, "I hardly got any sleep last night as it is, I'd rather not tire myself out further.." She switches ideas mid-sentence, and starts herding Corkin towards the office. "We're going to the hold, but we have to bring things with us." Corkin is used to being herded by now. "Sure.. I'll bring my wagon." He beams up at Ciela as he gets pushed through the door. Corkin opens the door to Master Csinonor's room, and steps through. Corkin has left. Ciela blinks, a trifle confused. "I thought we'd brought that over already?" Csinonor chuckles, and defends Corkin with, "I think he's still a little excited." Ciela huhs, entering the office herself. You open the door, and step through. Csinonor's Office(#12375RAh) Contents: Corkin Obvious exits: Master's Study Csinonor steps in through the door from the study. Csinonor has arrived. Corkin was just kicking himself for forgetting. "I guess I don't have to carry anything after all," he grins, putting his hands triumphantly on his hips. Ciela laughs. "Nice try, kiddo, but you can carry some of your other things. Clothes, and your pillow.." She looks around for anything else. Corkin sulks mockingly as he grabs his pillow from off of his cot, and pulls out a bag from under it to start stuffing in some clothing of his. "Well you've got to carry something too then," he pouts. Csinonor retrieves another sack, this one hanging neatly on a hook, and stuffs in a few articles of clothing for himself. "All of her things are already there, remember Corkin?" he grins. Ciela smiles. "But if you've something you want me to carry, I can. Just remember I've got this silly dress to worry about, 'til we get over there." Corkin sulks again, and seems to be defeated on every angle. "Fine, then.. then... yeah." He nods, admitting that the dress would be a hinderance. "Okay, but you have to do something for me later anyway," he says rapidly. Ciela ohs? "And what might that be?" She crosses her arms, not giving into the deal yet. Csinonor slings his pack over his shoulder, then picks up a few other bags he had packed ahead of time. Corkin says, "I don't know, I'll think of something." He grins winningly at Ciela. Ciela looks narrowly at Corkin. "I'm not agreeing to anything until I know what it is specifically. But we can discuss that later." Corkin folds his arms. "Okay," he agrees, and picks up his bag. "We ready to go?"
