A young rider of around 21 Turns, K'mon has long blond hair, pulled back in a simple braid. His hazel eyes never seem quite all there, but alight with energy or some hidden secret. He's wearing the black trous and blue tunic and vest of a Monaco rider, unless of course he's about to go swimming, then it's most likely his blue shorts he has on underneath for just such an occasion. His knot indicates he's a bluerider at Monaco Weyr and his badge shows him to be a Monaco Wingrider. And really..all that isn't redundant. :)
Dremeth is a dragon of rather unusual coloring; sometimes seeming almost deep, deep green, he is mainly a dark blue, darker than most. When he spreads his wings, light is collected into myriads of blues, shifting from the blue of the darkest sky at midnight to the clear, tropical blue of the seas.
In Dremeth's case, as with all the other dragons he's ever met, it was definitely the egg. He spent a bunch of rather dull sevendays cooped up in a very interestingly colored egg. It was boring, but he didn't realize that there was more than that..until one day there were new noises outside and suddenly, without warning../things/ were touching his egg! Not the big nice thing that was usually around..but smaller, louder things that made odd sounds.
After this he naturally wanted to get out and see what was up with that. So, a few sevendays later, he decided that /now/ was the time to break out. Apparently all of his clutchmates had the same idea, for they all started hatching at once. But the world was a lot bigger than he had expected..and there was a new odd feeling inside of him. Hungry..yes, that's what he was. Those things that had alarmed him earlier seemed like they might be helpful now, and he headed over to the whitish blobs making similar noises.
And then..whoa. There he was..the most perfect and wonderful person /ever/. Dremeth headed over to him, and, being a well-bred dragon, promptly introduced himself. The silly boy seemed startled, and even managed to get his own name wrong. Dremeth gently corrected him, and K'mon helped him to get rid of that nasty hungry feeling in return.
Weyrling life was fairly much like everyone else has found it since the first egg was hatched. Flying was exciting, *between* was exciting..everything was new and different. Dremeth turned out to be a fairly averaged size blue dragon, not too big, not too small. He wasn't too concerned with this, and to his knowledge, neither was anyone else. He was more intersted in Laren and Saura, K'mon's other thirds, who he decided that he like to talk to.
The next exiting thing that started happening was that some of those greens..who'd previously been only an annoyance when they'd win races, now started to rise in mating flights.. Dremeth soon discovered that he liked this very much, especially when he won. He didn't win all the time, or even most of the time..and, continuing to this day, only winning if the greenriders were male. This fact tended to bother his lifemate for some unknown reason.
After graduating, K'mon got asked to join the Monaco Wing, and Dremeth joined him (Cause, for some reason, Kim has trouble flying on his own :) Then a lot of general rider stuff happened, flying, eating, sleeping, arguing, making up, working.. until Selenath's clutch was on the sands, and Dremeth decided it would be a good idea to search Laren again. He /insisted/ upon it, despite K'mon's protests that she'd end up getting hurt if she didn't impress. During the candidacy, Dremeth was very happy, having his old friend Laren, and his new friend Beth (she even has a dragon name :) at the weyr with him.
Around this time, K'mon met Murione, who Dremeth mostly liked because a) she was willing to skritch him and b) she's Beth's sister. Now, several turns later, he can't quite remember when she wasn't around. In fact, he's quite glad she's there, since she's started clutching him hatchlings. (Confused yet? :) Kurin and Andey are K'mon and Muri's sons, but Dremeth thinks of them as almost his own.
During the time when he was waiting for his hatchlings, Dremeth's other friends went through some changes. Beth stood for yet another clutch, but this time found her lifemate, a blue dragon who calls himself Chambreth. When the two of them were through weyrling training they moved into a weyr nearby, bringing along K'mon's half-brother, Tylan. Dremeth has since stopped speaking to either of them, after being yelled at. He no longer remembers the yelling at specifically, but he hasn't started speaking to them again yet. It's unclear if he ever will.
