- The song "chopsticks" is used in the film, The Horse Whisperer. June 7, 1998

- Hi! I'm back again. I just got a new computer so everything's been a bit out of whack for a while, but I'm feeling much better now. Not much is happening with Liz that I know of, but I should be getting some lyrics to some of Liz's unreleased shelved demos from '96 soon. I'll have them up as soon as I can. March 10, 1997
- According to gerardc@escape.com in a message posted on the Matador bulletin board, Matador is hoping for a late spring release for Liz's album, "But the album is ready when she says so....and we'd prefer that Liz complete a record she likes rather than worry about our schedule too much." - Okay, finally some confirmation. In response to a message I posted to the Bulletin Board on Matador's site, carrie@matador.recs.com posted that Liz had her child on December 21st and named him James Nicholas Staskauskas (he'll be called "Nick"). - Liz shot a video for "Rocket Boy" today (May 13 1996) at a soundstage in Hollywood, CA. The song is on the "Stealing Beauty" soundtrack which I believe is due May 28. - There are two new Liz Phair bootlegs available, Pottymouth Girl and Clean As A Whistle
- Liz will have a song on the soundtrack to the new Kids In The Hall movie, Brain Candy. The song is titled "Willie The Six Dick Pimp." The soundtrack should be available April 9.
- It seems there is trouble with Liz's new album. Part One, Part Two and Part Three of a report on this are available at the Addicted to Noise site.
- Liz was nominated for a Grammy for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance. Unfortunately, she lost to Alanis Morisette.

- I've made changes to all pages that contain tables. They shouldn't be noticable if you're using an up-to-date browser, but if you're using a browser that doesn't support tables the pages should be more legible now. Please let me know if you find any pages with problems. June 17, 1996
