Aaron Walker's Lame Home Page

Thanks for visiting my sad, sad home page. This page was regularly updated until 1996 when I graduated from college. I kept thinking, "Oh, I'll update my pages again someday, when I find some time. Maybe it's because of my painfully slow modem connection, I just need broadband." Getting DSL at home didn't help. I think the main problem was not having homework to avoid anymore.

The pages on this site are still mostly very old. My HTML knowledge is still pretty much 1996. I don't use <font> declarations, I don't use frames, I don't use CSS.

I long ago added a counter to this page, so you can tell that you are visitor number since December 14 of 1995.

If you're wondering what I'm up to, you can check out my livejournal.

I still have a bio online, but it still needs more work. (I should really future-proof it with statements like "I'm between 28 and 38", etc.)

I'm working on a complete rebuild of the site, due Real Soon Now™.

The gallery has been neglected for quite a while now, as have my link pages which are probably mostly dead now.

My Macalester page has been gone for quite a while.

I got a Philosophy test back during my Junior year in college, and it had the comment: Your method makes no sense, despite correct answers. I like that.

This page is (infrequently) maintained using Alpha X, a very nice shareware text editor which supports code coloring for HTML, Perl, C, C++, Pascal, TeX, and several other languages. It's PowerMac native and the full version is available through shareware. I also use Alpha X for writing SQL code at work.
