I would like to thank YHWH,
Almighty God, and His Son, Y'shua the Messiah, for all that I have experienced
in life and for the gifts I have been given. Blessed art thou, YHWH our
El, King of the Universe.
I would like to thank my husband Joel for his love, his covering, and his computer assistance. I would also like to thank him for reminding me "everything will be okay" and for forgiving deadline-related irritableness.
I would like to thank our son, Micah, for being an excellent research assistant. He has not only helped me learn firsthand about attachment parenting, but he also tirelessly pressed the copy button on the library copier. It was during Micah's naps that the bulk of this thesis was written.
I would like to thank my friends from attachment parenting playgroups, from our last congregation, and from my Bible study group for assisting my growth as a wife, a mother, and as a woman. I would especially like to thank Sanda, whose help during the thesis writing period fostered increased harmony in our household.
I would like to thank the people who shaped my experience at Bethel. The other wonderful teachers who composed the cohort of students with whom I took my classes, made each Thursday night class a time of fellowship as well as a time of learning. The professors we shared also deserve much thanks for their energetic and informative teaching.
Lastly, I would like to thank my thesis advisor, Dr. David Anderson, whose editing and whose words of affirmation made the thesis writing process flow much more smoothly than anticipated.
