The Shire of Stromfels

The Shire of Stromfels is the St. Croix/Pierce County chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc. (SCA). Stromfels is part of the principality of Northshield which is within the Middle Kingdom. The SCA is a nonprofit educational organization dedicated to the study of Western Culture before the seventeenth century. Specifically, members focus on the European Middle Ages and Renaissance periods. Activities depend on the interest of the members and include archery, costuming, singing, martial arts, equestrian activities, dancing, cooking,woodworking, needle arts, brewing, pottery, calligraphy and illumination.
