Info about HeyYouSir
I was born and raised in the Upper Pennisula of Michigan. (If you have never been there, it is definitely worth the trip; beautiful countryside that is relatively unspoiled and not overpopulated.) I matriculated at Michigan Technological University. Upon graduation I was hired by a company in Minnesota. I am married (15 years in 2001!) and have four children. I am quite blessed by having a "normal" and happy life. I firmly believe the old adage, 'A sound mind in a sound body' so I try to keep both my mind and body in shape. I have earned a Master's Degree from the University of St. Thomas. These days an occasional thought helps to keep my mind from atrophying. I have been giving some thought to going back to school for another master's degree... within the next year or two. Time will tell. Step aerobics and weight lifting help me in my effort to "hold back the hands of time" physically. (To be honest, lately I've fallen off the "workout bandwagon", but it's on my list of things to do!) I enjoy watching a good movie every once in a while. I never cared much for the old Star Trek series when I was a kid. These days we have the Star Trek movie collection on video. It's funny, the more things change the more they stay the same. Now the question is, " Who is better: Captain Kirk or Captain Picard"? Some say that I have a dry sense of humor. I prefer to think of it as not taking life too seriously! I have worked with UNIX for some time now. For the most part, I am a self-taught HTMLer. These web pages are a bit of an experimental playground for me. My hope is that you get as much enjoyment out of interacting with these pages as I did creating them.
