MUNF(1) MUNF(1)

NAME
munf - Mush UNFormatter: Convert pretty MUSHcode files
       into game-input

SYNOPSIS
       munf -a
       munf [infile [outfile [errfile]]]

DESCRIPTION
The munf program takes an input file of human-readable
MUSHcode and converts it to continuous strings suitable
for game input. It isn't as bad as it sounds. It basically
       does the following:

         - Any line beginning with a # is a comment, and will not
show up in the output file.

         - Any line that consists of a '-' designates the end of
a 'record' (a chunk of lines that are to be concatenated
       together)

         - Leading whitespace is stripped from the beginning of
       every text line

         - The lines are then concatenated, with a carriage
return at the end of each 'record'.

OPTIONS
Two different forms of the munf command are available:
filter (auto) and file (normal). If the -a option is used,
munf operates as a filter, accepting input on stdin and
writing to stdout. If one or more files are specified,
they are used to designate (in order) the input, output,
and error log filename to be used.
