To make browsing for code as easy as possible, please put only pages that are directly related to mushcoding into this Web Ring. Please don't submit your mush's main web page or personal homepage, because this makes visitors step through multiple layers of your site to find the mushcode-related pages.
Your site doesn't have to be big, or popular, or for any specific version of Mu*, altough the Web Ring is intended for TinyMUSH, PennMUSH, and TinyMUX and their derivatives. (After all, if it isn't one of these, your softcode is unlikely to port easily, if at all.)
Then view the sample format for the Web Ring links. Cut and paste the contents of the sample page into your own page. Find and edit the site_id references in each link and change the "id=1" to your own site id number. You won't know what that is until you've been added to the queue. You should receive an email from the ring containing this information, already adjusted for your site. 5/30 Webring.org has disabled the email function due to a problem on their mail server. You won't receive any email notification at this time, so be sure to save a copy of the "welcome" page that you will receive after submitting your site to the queue. If you lose it, see the sample html fragment and check the queue to find out what your site id is.
There is a selection of logos available for you to use. Two of them are used in the button bar example and link back to this site. You are encouraged to pick two you like and download them for local use, and adjust your html appropriately.
If you experience problems adding your site with the form below,
please try
this
one instead. If you get a "timeout" error from webring, please
check
the queue before assuming it didn't go through.
