(Answer) (Category) FAQ-O-Matic : (Category) General :
I don't have enough space in C:\TEMP or /tmp to run the installer, even if I run it directly from the cdrom. How can I install JBuilder using another drive partition as temporary workspace?
Open a command prompt and create an environment variable pointing to the desired drive partition:

Linux example:

 bash$ IATEMPDIR=/usr/tmp
 bash$ export IATEMPDIR
 bash$ /mnt/cdrom/linux/per_install

Windows example:

 IATEMPDIR=D:\TEMP
 E:\WINDOWS\ENT_INSTALL
