This tip will work with JBuilder versions 4, 5 and 6.  ORBacus is an 
ORB from ooc.com (now part of IONA).  This tip assumes you have 
already installed ORBacus to a directory called /OOC.  This also 
assumes ORBacus version 4.0.3 but should work with any version of 
ORBacus with little or no modification.

First some prep work.  You need to create add a library configuration 
for the ORBacus jar files (Tools | Configure Libraries).  Call the 
Library ORBacus and have it include the following files:

/OOC/lib/OB.jar
/OOC/lib/OBNaming.jar
/OOC/lib/OBUtil.jar
/OOC/lib/OBEvent.jar

Now to configure the CORBA environment for ORBacus.

- From the main menu in JBuilder choose Tools | Enterprise Setup
- Click on the CORBA tab.
- Click on the 'New' button.

Enter the following in the CORBA Configuration dialog box:

- Name: ORBacus
- Path: x:\OOC\bin ('x' is the letter of the drive where ORBacus is 
  installed on Windows machines)
- Library for projects: Click on the ellipsis button and choose the 
  'ORBacus' library.
- IDL Compiler Command: jidl
- Command option for output Directory: --output-dir

Click OK.  Click OK to close the Enterprise setup options.  As 
long as ORBacus is chosen for the ORB that you are using, all IDL 
files should be compiled against it.
