I'm typing in the source pane, and the editor cursor is to the left of the characters I'm typing. When I click the mouse past the end of a line, the cursor is several characters to the left of the last character. What's wrong? |
| This is a problem with the font metrics assigned to the BOLD font the editor is using for displaying keywords.
Tools | Editor Options | Color Scroll down the 'Screen Element' list and select 'Reserved Word' Clear the 'Bold' setting. That should resolve the problem. If it does, I'd go the list and clear the 'Bold' setting on all of the elements. If you really want the bold on keywords, select a new font in

| This problem is a jre/platform font handling bug, not a bug in JBuilder. The Font Metrics are supplied by the JVM's own jre/lib/font.properties file and/or the platform. This information isn't embedded within JBuilder. The fix above is a workaround for the bad font metrics.
