(Answer) (Category) FAQ-O-Matic : (Category) General : (Category) OpenTools : (Category) Writing OpenTools with OTAPI :
How do I check for the -verbose option on the command line?
Like this:

  import com.borland.primetime.PrimeTime;
  ...
if (PrimeTime.isVerbose()) { System.out.println("Opentool foo: blah blah"); }

This is good for debugging, OT Copyright notices, etc.
