I wish to create a class which extends PropertyPage, but it's a red bean in the Designer! |
| You need a proxy class that will enable the Designer to instantiate an instance of a suitable class parent.
This class is a JBuilder Designer proxy for class com.borland.primetime.properties.PropertyPage. It allows you to use the Designer on classes which extend PropertyPage, which would otherwise display a Red Bean error. PropertyPageProxy.jar contains both the class file and its source, so you can use it as an example for creating your own proxies. To install this jar, do these simple steps: 1) copy PropertyPageProxy.jar into jbuilder/lib/ext.
2) edit ~/.jbuilder/user.properties and find the section of
"designer;proxy" lines. Insert the following line and save the file.
designer;proxy.com.borland.primetime.properties.PropertyPage=com.visi.gyles19.mushnode.proxy.PropertyPageProxy
Here is the proxy jar file. Download this and save it on your machine. | |
