My registration key has a ? in it but JBuilder won't let me enter it! |
| Here are a few things to try:
If you are using a locale which is not US English, try changing it to US English just long enough to enter the key. Try using cut/paste to copy the key from your email or other text document. You may need to use Notepad or some other application as an intermediate step.
To get back to the right place, launch jbuilder like so: jbuilder -license 2001-Jan-03 3:55pm gyles19@visi.com | |
| Also note, JBuilder runs on JDK 1.3, and if you're using Sun's 1.3, you
will run into the following bug in the JVM:
http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/bugParade/bugs/4371923.html
This one is a real problem for non-English keyboard users! If you've
change JBuilder's jdk.config file to run JBuilder on Sun's JVM, try
changing it back to IBM's JVM long enough to enter the license
information.
