I have a project which contains gif/jpg files for its icons. I've added the gif files to my project and they are visible in the project pane. When I try to use CVS to create a module from this project, JBuilder excluded the gif/jpg files. When I try to 'cvs status' the file using the context menu, JBuilder responds with "CVS Status for this file is not applicable" |
| When JBuilder 4 creates a cvs module, it excludes the classes and bak directories, among other things. Only files in the project's root directory (where project.jpx lives) and the project's src directory are included.
Since the gif file here was physically located in the classes directory tree, JBuilder's cvs import did not see it, so it was not included in the cvs repository. When you try 'cvs status', cvs complains because the cvs status command functions only for files within the cvs sandbox/workspace, and this file is outside the sandbox.
Move the gif/jpg icon files into the corresponding packages inside the src
tree, and delete the old locations from the project file. JBuilder will automatically copy these gif/jpg files from src to classes at build time. | |
