(Answer) (Category) FAQ-O-Matic : (Category) General : (Category) Debugger :
I'm trying to use the remote debug feature. Every watch I set results in an "out of scope" error. What could be causing this? The debugger is pausing at the breakpoints I set within those methods so I'm certain the watches are in scope!
Verify that both the local and the remote class files are identical and compiled with "debug information" enabled.

Previous: (Answer) Remote Debug a Java Plugin applet with JBuilder
Next: (Answer) I installed JBuilder4 on Linux, and because the bundled IBM JVM debugger doesn't work well, I installed Sun's JVM and edited jdk.config to run JBuilder on Sun's JVM. However, when I look at the "Run" menu, NONE of my debugger menu items are enabled! What's wrong?
