I have JBuilder4 Enterprise. Where is the advertised debugger feature "Synchronization Monitors??" used for diagnosing deadlock conditions?
The function of the Synchronization Monitors tab is dependant upon support within the JVM running the application. Not all JVMs support this functionality. When the debugger detects a JVM which offers the required support, the tab is made visible.

UNVERIFIED:
I'm not sure, but it seems that Sun's Green threads implementations do not contain the support which this tab needs, so it is not present in the debugger when running applications under a Green Threads JVM.

So, if you're running with -classic to avoid HotSpot debugger bugs, you also lose the Synchronization tab. Bummer!

Previous: (Answer) Can't load "jdwp.dll", because Can't find dependent libraries
Next: (Answer) I've set a breakpoint in a file. The debugger stops at the breakpoint. When I click the icon to single-step to the next line, the debugger takes off at a run, just like I'd pressed the 'run' icon instead. What gives?
