How can I disable the WebView tab? It doesn't work for my application. |

You can disable the Web View when you Web Run/Debug something in the run configuration. If you're talking about the HTML "View", try this:
1. Create a new project named nohtmlview anywhere you want 2. Wizards | Archive Builder 3. Select the Archive Type: OpenTool 4. Click Finish 5. Edit the classes.opentools file 6. Insert the line
OpenTools-UI: -com.borland.jbuilder.viewer.HTMLNodeViewerFactoryBe sure to type Enter at the end of the line 7. Project | Make 8. Exit JBuilder 9. Copy the nohtmlview.jar in the project directory into JBuilder's /lib/ext directory
Now when you use JBuilder, you should not have a View page for HTML or JSP files. No undesirable side effects leap to mind, but you never know.... 2001-Apr-10 5:00pm gyles19@visi.com
| If you don't want to completely disable the WebView tab, but still need to navigate between jsp files within the IDE, try this workaround:
Use "Search | Find in path" to locate all of your project jsp files. You may want to stick a comment in each file with a known content to make finding them easier.
Once JB creates the search results tab in the message pane, select the file of interest and doubleclick on its search result line. JB will open the file directly in the source pane, ignoring the web view.
