JBuilder's debugger runs horribly slow. How can I speed it up? |
| If your application is running under a Sun JVM with HotSpot, the first
thing to try is to add -classic to the project's VM parameters field.
The -classic parameter disables HotSpot, and thus avoids bugs in the
HotSpot compiler which interfere with debuggers.
If adding -classic to the VM parameters doesn't solve the problem,
try adjusting the message pane update rate either higher or lower.
The update rate is found under Tools, IDE Options, Run/Debug.
Try 50ms initially.
