It Always Starts Small

Just a nice dragon.

But it never seems to stay that way. This all got started when I found a new and better video card that I just had to have.

The card was a nVidia Gforce 5700 Ultra Dual DVI/VIVO card by XFS. A sweet little card, but one that required a 300 Watt power supply, a power rating that far exceeded the power capacitiy of my poor little Shuttle case.

It was my birthday, all my credit cards were clear, and I had some extra cash lying around. Perhaps you can begin to see where this is going, since I was tired of playing around with this and not getting anywhere.

But first I needed a firewire card. One that had motherboard style connectors on it so I could plug the front pannel of the Aria in. After a couple of days, I found it, the insert card name here
