Richard is a proven showman, an incredible guitar player and a soulful singer who always gets the crowd involved. His original music has the flavor of Little Feat, sounds of Allman Brother influences, crossed with blues, funk and soul.
     After completing a Midwestern mini-tour, Richard found the fan base still strong. Playing to standing-room-only crowds, with that contagious energy that has become his trademark.
      Richard has been recording some new material and is now playing along the west coast. A re-recorded, updated version of "Leave My Love Behind" is featured on "THE DEAN WEISSER BAND - BOPPIN' THE BLUES" CD.
      Richards 1977 "BAREBACK" album has been digitally re-mastered and re-released by EMI Records in 2000. The album features Bill Payne, David Hungate, Jeff Porcaro and Ernie Watts. Richard has had 3 previous national tours promoting his seven solo albums on Shelter and Capitol Records. His single, "Rio de Janeiro Blue", has been recorded by Nicolette Larson and Randy Crawford. On previous tours, Richard shared the stage with Little Feat, Kansas, Taj Mahal, Billy Joel, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Bob Seger and many more.
