DAY 53
Rob and I got up. He went to work and I went out and got the car ready to be towed away to the mechanic. I was so tempted to nurse it over there myself, I just did not want to see it on a town truck. The truck came about 9am and I watched him load it up and haul it off. It was so hard to see it on the tow truck. I went to the garage and they were unloading it from the truck when I got there. He will be checking it out today and see what is wrong with it.
I went on to Vera's and worked on the journal and then headed back home to take the dogs out for a walk and then met with the guy looking at the BMW. He took the car out to have it looked at by a mechanic. I went out for a walk in the woods for a while. When I came back the guy had brought the BMW back, there were a couple of things that we did not know were wrong with it, like the alarm does not work. yeesh.
Rob came home later in the afternoon. I checked on my car and the mechanic did not get to it today. He promised that he would work on it tomorrow. I made some pancakes and bacon for dinner and we watched TV for a while. I called my mom and found out that my brother in Alabama has sold his house and has decided to move back up here.
We also found out that the neighbor next door was leaving. He has been living there for 22 years and now has to leave his house with nothing. He got caught up in one of those equity scams and could not get out of it. Gerald Dove came over for a bit too. After everyone left Rob and I watched TV for a while and then went to bed and read til we slept.
