Detailed Description:
The Seward Concert Band will perform its Spring Concert on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at 7:30 PM in the
Auditorium of the South High School, 3131-19th Avenue South, Minneapolis, south entrance. This
marks the 30th Anniversary of the Founding of the Seward Concert Band. We will have special guest
appearances from two former Directors of the Band who will conduct. All former Band members are
encouraged to bring their instruments and join in the program's final piece and renew acquaintances.
Tickets are available at the door and are $6 adults, $5 seniors and $4 students/children, MPR members
receive two tickets for the price of one. Bring the entire family. As always, audience members are
invited to join the band for refreshments following the performance.
The Seward Concert Band is a non-profit organization comprised of amateur brass, wind and
percussion players from the Twin Cities and surrounding areas. The group works to promote music
education and appreciation, and is under the direction of Dennis Malmberg. For in depth interviews
