A dead-end proposal taken seriously.

Imagine my surprise when I read this this morning. This is funny to me because I proposed something very much like this back in November. Unfortunately, they've already submitted the paperwork to get the initiatives kicked off or I'd have some suggestions for them to word it a bit better. But then, they say right out that they don't expect it to actually pass, much less get on the 2007 ballot.
