A project close to my heart is "Layne's Legacy - Beading For A Cure".
This organization sponsors an annual bead challenge to help raise money and
awareness for the National Colorectal Cancer Research Association. Here

Other Favorites worth mentioning:

Dee's Place Doris Coghill is very active in the Twin Cities area bead community.
Her site has lots of bead supplies and kits for sale, along with plenty of information
regarding the local Bead Bazaar that she organizes twice a year.

C-Koop Beads Sara Lukkonen makes fabulous enameled copper pendants and beads.
There are dozens of bead stores in the Upper Midwest region that carry her product line.

Glass River Beads Jeff Plath specializes in African Trade Beads but he happens to be
an accomplished lampwork artist, too. Jeff's beads can also be found in most bead stores
located in the Upper Midwest region.

Aaron Fahrmann Photography Aaron Fahrmann is an amazing photographer in the Twin Cities
area that I have known for over 25 years. In 2007 he published three different books showcasing his work.
