Or, EEGADS! I forgot to ask for AGE! I started writing these while reviewing a research protocol manual, then wondering what it was exactly I did while I merrily marked up the forms. These tid-bits are collected from 10+ years experience in research data management, so are more pragmatic rather than theory-based (so don't skip your biostats class!).

This is definitely a work in progress -- the date at the end of a line is when it was posted. Suggestions always welcome, especially if you know of interesting "how to do research" sites or survey item banks or the like (calbright@visi.com ).
