06/11/2004: "Guess what we're eating!"
We made it to Sebastian Joe's after the "sit sing" rehearsal for Brigadoon. We are standing inside Sebastian Joe's using one of their fancy iMac computers to write this entry. Becky says that rehearsal was "boring" but I enjoyed playing my oboe in the orchestra. Since we were driving down I-94 anyhow, stopping for ice cream in "uptown" was easy.
We ordered "chocolate pistachio" "mint chocolate chip" and "Bailey's Coffee Chip". can you guess which was who's? (Becka, Andy and Rachel are the people here, in case that wasn't totally obvious
).
The reason I'm typing this entry is because I finished my ice cream first, and Rachel is still working on her's. its kind of turned into a leaky mess. (We can't agree if the word "her's" in the last sentence needs an apostrophe.)

And another thing -- you can't make a contraction out of "her is" because "her is" is not valid English grammar! You can contract "she is" all you want...

A hah! I thought I might trick you with the sherbet! Even though Becka loves sherbet, the key was to notice that it was Mango -- and I am a sucker for Mango. But you did get Rachel's flavor correct (even though I like Oreo a lot, too).

You are right! Too bad we can't buy you an ice cream cone as a reward. P.S. We went to Sebastian Joe's again today. This time the flavors were Oreo, Mango Sherbet and Black Forest.

Well, well I got your sister on a horse today!! She did right ok. She did better on the 4 wheeler, tho. She did very well moving cattle. She erred on the side of caution which is always a good thing. She even earned high praise from my dad, "Good job Beth!" Glad you guys are having fun!

Yep, now that I think about it- I believe that "her's" belongs in the sames grammar manual that the kids at school use. You know: their, there, they're and THARE.

I think it may depend on how many "her's" you have...
