President Reagan was almost exactly the same age as my Grandma. She died in Sept. She was thrilled when he got elected- thought it was neat that he was well into his senior years and that he was still able to be President of the United States--a hard job. Grandma never fancied herself as "old" and he gave her hope. The State Funeral will be interesting to watch and will make Americans more patriotic for awhile.

People who knew him say he was a good, kind person. Sad for his family.
