The giant squid is depicted here. The gentle giant of the deep. You can see from the set of its tentacles that it is at peace, the lord of its domain. Except for the pesky sperm whales.
This is the small, playful, adriatic squid. These are the ones that saved sailors in ancient times. Now they are angry with us over something. If you look closely, you can see that this one is frowning deeply at the photographer.
Finally, the sparrow of the squid clan. These miniatures are great fun as pets, splashing about in their aquarium, only rarely sneaking out to suffocate their owners in the night.
