MUSIC

As a former classical piano student (in my youth), reluctantly avid record accumulator, and persistent -- possibly intrepid -- concert-goer, I may be just a little too interested in music. I could, with but the smallest encouragement, be persuaded to create an entire website devoted to the topic of my interests in music. Having received no such encouragement, I'd simply refer anyone who cares to read my opinions and observations about music to the many record reviews that I've written for Snowbound or to the favorite records and favorite concerts lists that I've compiled for the Heippapendia issues of Heippis.

Here, at my homepage, I'll limit myself to offering a bifurcated shortlist of records I especially like by 1) bands and musicians I especially like, and by 2) composers I especially like.

Note: The links within the lists will take you to the official websites of the bands and musicians, and, in the case of the composers, to well done, non-commercial websites devoted to the composers and their music.
