Located in the Golden Triangle business park in the Minneapolis suburb Eden Prairie, VISI’s Eden Prairie Data Center has set the new standard for Minnesota data centers. It is the first commercially-available data center in Minnesota to be reviewed for the Uptime Institute Tier III Design Certification.
Uptime Institute Tier III design ensures that this facility's critical infrastructure is concurrently maintainable (also commonly referred to as N+1 infrastructure). In other words, should a critical component fail or be taken down for maintenance, data center services will not be interrupted.
VISI has integrated state-of-the-art technologies to provide a sustainable, high efficiency design to provide the flexibility to meet the requirements of high performance and production IT environments.
VISI also provides several amenities that truly enable the data center to be an extension of client’s internal IT staff and infrastructure:
- Staging Area - VISI provides space in the facility for customer staging of equipment prior to installation
- Onsite Storage - VISI offers onsite storage for colocation services customers
- Meeting Room - Onsite conference room is available for customer use
