EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (July 18, 2012)—VISI announces the hire of Darren Olson, as Sales Director for Minnesota. In this role, Olson will be responsible for driving VISI’s sales efforts in Minnesota and developing as well as leading the sales teams.
Olson joins the VISI team from Datalink in Eden Prairie where he was vice president of the National Networking Practice. Prior to Datalink, Olson was the vice president of Integration Services with Midwave. Before that, he served as the vice president of Operations for Enventis. His responsibilities have included leadership over sales, solution architects, and consulting engineers.
Olson comes to VISI with more than15 years of technology experience across a variety of platforms and a solid understanding of managing vendor-partner relationships across the service provider space.

Olson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
