VISI uses firewall systems to protect important customer information. Our customers can create Virtual Private Network (VPN) connections to VISI in order to access data securely. You need to use a VPN connection when performing the following tasks:
1. Accessing a Microsoft SQL database using SQL Enterprise Manager or a related tool
2. Accessing a dedicated Windows server using a Terminal Services client such as Remote Desktop
3. Accessing any application which is normally blocked by our firewall systems
